Egypt Strengthens African Cooperation on Pharmaceutical and Vaccine Manufacturing

Egypt and the African Union Development Agency have agreed on a framework to expand African drug and vaccine production. The initiative aims to strengthen pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity, encourage technology transfer and improve regional access to essential medicines and healthcare products. Hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical manufacturers require integrated information systems, production analytics and efficient medical supply-chain planning.
